Where are signs of life in Canadian congregations, and what can we learn from them? This book draws on interviews with 100+ Canadian church leaders, plus surveys with over 250 congregations and 9100 respondents. The insights focus on several organizational dynamics to congregational life (identity, leadership, innovation, structures and process), internal variables (discipleship, engaged laity, hospitable community, diversity), along with outward aspects (neighbourhood involvement, partnerships, evangelism). Throughout, church leaders are resourced to consider the theological and practical implications of this research for churches who wish to flourish.
