Training to become a pastor/minister/priest requires certain skills and knowledge to flourish with the 21st century congregant. This interview-based project with 100+ Canadian church leaders highlights four key themes, followed by several ways that pastoral leaders and theological educators might move forward with these findings: (1) Equipping the Saints; (2) Practical Discipleship Training; (3) Spiritual Formation of seminary students; and (4) Missional and Organizational Training.
